Sysmex Philippines continues Preventive Nephrology Project with Philippine Association of Medical Technologist Inc.
In their quest to give back to the community, Sysmex Philippines Inc. provided free urinalysis for the students and residents of Laoag City in the province of Ilocos Norte on 17-19 December, 2013 alongside with the Philippine Association of Medical Technologist Inc. and Safeguard, who conducted proper hand washing activities to grade school students and provided free FBS and Cholesterol testing to the eligible residents of Laoag City.
The Preventive Nephrology Project and Health and Hygiene Awareness Activity aims to prevent and provide early detection and treatment of kidney diseases in public school children that will also raise the awareness on the importance of healthy kidneys. Sysmex Philippines’ used UF-1000i and HCLAB WAM to provide free urinalysis result to the students and residents. Governor Imee R. Marcos also graced the three-day activity with her presence in support for the health and welfare of her constituents. All Sysmex Philippines’ employees were delighted to help the communities as they provide quality healthcare to the Filipino people.
