Sysmex Philippines Inc. is delighted to announce its new Managing Director, Mr. Rex Andrew U. Laroza, taking over the helm from Romeo Joseph J. Ignacio, with immediate effect.

Rex brings with him proven track record in the Healthcare industry for 31 years. He graduated from the University of the Philippines, attended various leadership programs in Duke Corporate University, North Carolina, and Illinois in USA and in Germany and completed the advanced Marketing Program in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

His most recent work is in Abbott Diagnostics as General Manager in the Philippines and Indonesia for six years and became the Regional Managing Director in South Asia for close to five years, where he led the team to achieve exceptional growth and performance.

A well-rounded person, Rex enjoys working with his team and various customers and is passionate in improving patient care, management and outcome. Despite his outstanding contributions and achievements, Rex remains a champion of empowering people throughout the years and counting — as he plays vital role in guiding and steering Sysmex Philippines to position itself strategically in the Philippines.
